Finally, I've joined a local pottery class, Turning Earth E2, since last November 2016. I'm loving it! This is a coil vase that I've been making for a few weeks and finished it today. It will be left to dry for its 1st firing next week.
The Gates of Hell... A. Rodin
Ever since I was a teenager, I have always wanted to see this piece reading about it in a magazine in Korea and I managed it after being in Europe for so long! It was moving and I was mesmerised, stood in front of it for awhile watching the gate and peoples' reactions. A group of visually impaired people came to see the work who went up close to touch to see it. How beautiful is this!
I enter the gates of hell to come out the other end, here we come 2017!
