The Gates of Hell... A. Rodin

Ever since I was a teenager, I have always wanted to see this piece reading about it in a magazine in Korea and I managed it after being in Europe for so long! It was moving and I was mesmerised, stood in front of it for awhile watching the gate and peoples' reactions. A group of visually impaired people came to see the work who went up close to touch to see it. How beautiful is this! 

I enter the gates of hell to come out the other end, here we come 2017!

Floating Dreams by Ik-Joog Kang (강익중) on the Thames in front of Tate Modern...

500 drawings put together in one huge lantern with a heavy message of the lost lives during the Korean War, however, ironically, the lantern lightly floats on the river perhaps for a more brighter future...
